The second attempt at cutting the proverbial teeth, #002 is a distillation of my personal philosophy when it comes to how guitars should be constructed; simple, clean, ergonomic, versatile, and lightweight. Coming in at a hair over 6.5 lbs overall, #002 punches above its weight with the Dimarzio Nita Strauss Pandemonium Signature pickup set, giving it a wide range of tonal expression from twangy country to crushing metal. An “Amberburst” nitro-lacquer finish with a natural cutaway around the bevels gives a tasteful, classic color scheme to the guitar alongside its highlighting use of mother of pearl and green abalone inlays.
